Viewing governance reports¶
New in version 11.2.0.
The governance report provides an overview of the user activity in your workspace. Here, you can get aggregate metrics, for example the number of diagrams by publication status, to draw conclusions regarding the success of your process modeling initiative.
The feature “Governance report” is available only for users with the Enterprise Edition. To access the governance report, you also need administration rights for the workspace.
To view a governance report, proceed as follows:
Open the Explorer and click under Reporting the menu entry Governance report.
The Governance report dialog opens. Each tile in the dialog displays a different usage metric.
Click the tile with the desired value to access detailed information, for example on models with the publishing state “Not published”.
In a new browser tab, the results list of an advanced search with the filter “publication state is not published” is displayed. All models with the corresponding publication status are listed here.
The governance report’s usage metrics¶
Please note that the aggregates in the governance reports also consider diagrams you don’t have permission to access. In contrast, your current access rights are of course taken into account for the linked search.
In the overview, the usage metrics are available:
The total number of diagrams in your workspace is shown in brackets.
The number of diagrams grouped by publishing state and type (value chain, organization chart, etc...) is shown in the respective tile.
The total number of existing comments is shown in brackets.
The number of comments grouped by commenting state is shown in the respective tile.
The total number of existing dictionary items is shown in brackets.
The number of dictionary items grouped by publishing state and dictionary category type (events, requirements,...) is shown in the respective tile.
The total number of existing files is shown in brackets.
The number of file grouped by publishing state and the type (.PDF, .JPG,...) is shown in the respective tile.
The number of views of diagrams that have been published in Collaboration Hub indicates the acceptance of your process landscape by end users.
Clicks in Collaboration Hub of certain time spans are compared (for example, the current year and the last year). Unique users refers to the total amount of visitors to Collaboration Hub in the given time span. If a user visits Collaboration Hub several times in the given time span, only the first visit is counted. For reasons of data protection, the display of Unique users is only allowed once more than 10 users have accessed Collaboration Hub. Here, metrics are also compared by certain time spans.
